A big reveal for horror game and FPS fans, as Tripwire Interactive’s co-op shooter series Killing Floor is returning for a third outing.

A runaway hit of a series for those who love multiplayer shooters and gore-soaked horror, Killing Floor has been around for a good long time at this point. Believe it or not, it’s been nearly 15 years of terror for the series, which is currently two well-updated games deep. Things it’s time for a third title? Yeah, so does developer Tripwire Interactive.

Killing Floor 3 is the next installment in the legendary co-op action/horror FPS series. The year is 2091, 70 years after the events in Killing Floor 2, and megacorp Horzine has produced the ultimate army: an obedient horde of bio-engineered monstrosities called Zeds. Now, the only thing standing between these infernal creations and the future of humanity is the rebel rogue group known as Nightfall. Stay tuned horror fans, there’s no release date yet for Killing Floor 3, but it’s currently in development for the Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC.
