Behold WH40K: Inquisitor – Martyr’s Season of Malediction is live

A seventh season has kicked off for NeocoreGames’ aRPG Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor – Martyr, and it’s loaded with fresh content and a new feature.

Still rolling

Just for reference, Inquisitor – Martyr first launched back in 2018, so the game has been out for five years plus and it’s still getting hefty content drops. That’s pretty nice, and in the case of this particular title, it continues to make an already pretty deep title that much more expansive.

Called the Season of Malediction, season 7 of Warhammer 40K: Inquisitor – Martyr adds in a bunch of new content, so NeocoreGames isn’t slouching as the number of updates goes up. Among the additions are “new items, new mission objectives, new enemy hazards and new rewards”. More than that though, season 7 looks to bring back some themes from season 3, along with something entirely new.

That would be the “enchantment browser”. This new fan requested mechanic will give players “the ability to view all enchantments and their properties within the game.” That should make navigating the slew of options a little easier.

Here’s a look at it all in action:

Season of Malediction is a free seasonal update, centered around hazardous areas in the Caligari Sector, bringing back game elements similar to the first three seasons of the game. The update also includes new  items, new mission objectives, new enemy hazards and new rewards. Season 7 also introduces the “Enchantment Browser”, a long awaited feature to Inquisitor – the ability to view all enchantments and their properties within the game.

NeocoreGames press release

While the PC edition is up to season 7, the console versions of Inquisitor – Martyr are about to get their own boosts. That would be to season 5, which arrives along with the long-awaited Sororitas class.

A paid piece of DLC, the Sororitas content adds in a Sister of Battle for play as the title Inquisitor. You can look for all of that to hit on July 6th for all console editions of Inquisitor – Martyr. Again though, season 7 (with its enchantment browser) is live right now for the PC players out there.
