Trailer: How about an extended look at Warhammer 40K: Boltgun’s retro FPS action?

One of the most hotly anticipated Warhammer 40K-licensed titles in a while, Boltgun is looking retro-tastic in this latest (extended) look.

Renegade filth!

Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun is a single-player FPS that delivers a hardcore, neo-retro experience with iconic ‘90s style, putting you in the ceramite-armored boots of the ultimate killing machine: a Space Marine. One week before it launches, get a nice, good look at the devastating, visceral gameplay that will have you obliterating the daemons of Chaos.

Focus Entertainment press release

As you can see there, this is a nice look at what Boltgun will offer up. While the game’s visuals are decidedly 90s, complete with sprite-based enemies, it’s also got quite a lot of modern flair. And while we’re a little biased given the license and retro-FPS theme, we’re also pretty comfortable in saying that, by the Emperor this looks fantastic.

If you’re pumped for it too, the your day is almost at hand. Warhammer 40K: Boltgun is scheduled to hit consoles and the PC tomorrow, May 23rd.
