There will be Carnage, with Hot Toys’ latest Movie Masterpiece

One of the best-looking villain adaptations to hit recent superhero movies in recent years, Venom II’s Carnage is coming up from Hot Toys.

Red menace

So yeah, this particular figure from Hot Toys is based on Carnage’s appearance in the Venom films. And yes, we all know that those movies are far from perfect, and overall Carnage was too. But it’s tough to argue with the fantastic design that the villain had in the movie, and this new Hot Toys figure might be one that comic fans could dig, as much as movie-centric collectors.

The design is, for the most part, taken right from the original books, and the figure looks to be a stunning one. As usual with a Hot Toys figure too, he’s loaded with accessories, including multiple tongues and weapon attachments.

Check him out:

The intricately detailed figure has textured skin and is painted in crimson red with black webbing. Carnage comes with two newly developed headsculpts featuring a grinning head and a head with a fang-filled mouth, plus three interchangeable protruding tongues. His monstrous weapons and accessories include attacking claws, a sickle, and a sword. He also comes with a variety of symbiote tentacles with interchangeable parts.

Sideshow Toys press release

Note that the Eddie Brock “venomized” head sculpt and stand is exclusive to the Deluxe Version of the Carnage figure. So if you want that, definitely make sure you’re grabbing the right Carnage.

And speaking of, the standard (or Collector Edition) Carnage will run you $445 USD, while that Deluxe is priced in at $510. Both are still up for pre-order and are set to ship out in short order. Look for them to hit collections some time this month through May, 2023.
