Dying Light Enhanced Edition goes free on PC this month, thanks to Epic

PC players will want to get themselves over to the Epic Games Store this week, to pick up a free copy of one of the best undead romps around.

Free… and enhanced

When you talk about open-world, zombie-fightin’ games, there are a few that should instantly pop to mind. And among those, Techland’s Dying Light series might be right at the top.

And while, yes, there is a terrific sequel out there bearing the name, don’t forget that the original is still pretty great. Dying Light created the post-apocalyptic world that players have poured countless hours into, and is still worth checking out… especially if its for free.

If you read the headline (which, of course, you did), then you know that the Enhanced Edition of the original will be an Epic Games Store freebie this month. And if that’s not enough for you, then know too that you’ll get a special welcome pack for downloading, which includes:

  • Last Hope weapon
  • Alternator hammer
  • Deadeye’s bow blueprint
  • Ratty outfit skin
  • Survival kit bundle

Now, there is one caveat to all of this free action, and that’s that you’ll have to link your Epic and Techland accounts to get it. To do that ahead of time, click here to head to Techland’s official page.

Once the above is done, you’ll be all set to grab your free copy of Dying Light Enhanced Edition, when it becomes available on April 6th, 2023. Just make sure you don’t wait too long once it does post, since the giveaway ends on the 13th.
