Go in-depth next week on the modes of WWE 2K23

Not too far off, WWE 2K23 is about to get a full exploration of its modes, thanks to 2K Games and 2K NextMakers. Next week will have the full scoop.

Time to dig in

If you’ve been following along with WWE 2K23’s development, then you’ve already seen a fair bit of the game. We’ve seen screenshots and video, as well as gotten the reveal of the roster and wrestler-ratings for when you finally take them all to the mat.

With all of that in the rear-view, next week will start the focus on the nuts and bolts of the title. And by that, I mean the modes of play. Publisher 2K revealed that today, along with the days and dates of a series of special presentations that will get into just how you’ll be playing when 2K23 arrives.

In all, there’ll be 4 of these shows, with each focusing on a set of modes. These are mostly what you’d expect, with the inclusion of the creation suite, MyRISE, MyFACTION, and more.

Here’s how it shakes out:

  • Characters, Environment, Play & Creation Suite: Tuesday, March 7;
  • MyFACTION & MyRISE: Wednesday, March 8;
  • Universe Mode & MyGM: Thursday, March 9;
  • 2K Showcase: Friday, March 10.

But wait, there’s more! Along with the above, you’ll be able to tune in to a special episode of the UpUpDownDown podcast for a look at “MyGM updates and improvements”. That show is hosted by Austin Creed, who might be better known as current WWE superstar Xavier Woods, who’ll be joined by former wrestler and current manager Tyler Breeze.

About Jason Micciche

Jason's been knee deep in videogames since he was but a lad. Cutting his teeth on the pixely glory that was the Atari 2600, he's been hack'n'slashing and shoot'em'uping ever since. Mainly an FPS and action guy, Jason enjoys the occasional well crafted title from every genre.
