Hot Toys’ Super Battle Droids on the way to bolster Star Wars’ Separatists

Rolling ever onward is Hot Toys, who’ve got a stellar looking new figure coming along with the Star Wars prequel era’s Super Battle Droid.

Slightly more menacing

If you’ve been following along, then you know that Hot Toys has been digging deep into Star Wars’ prequel era. Of course, that’s not all that the company has been up to, but there have been a number of awesome figures seeing both release and announcement from that time-period.

Those range from the main players (like Anakin and Padme) to figures like the 501st Trooper and Bo-Katan. True, Bo is actually from The Mandalorian, but she’s featured heavily in the Clone Wars as well. So she would probably look just as great on a TCW shelf.

Now the company is back again, and with a staple figure, that pretty much any Star Wars prequel-era fan would want. Yep, it’s the imposing Super Battle Droid.

Based on their appearance in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones, the Super Battle Droid 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure features a newly developed body, with an LED light-up feature on the chest, and has over 18 points of articulation which allow for new levels of flexibility and posing potential. The figure is carefully painted in metallic and matte black with weathered effects, and comes with articulated mechanical graspers plus an interchangeable battle damaged elbow. The Super Battle Droid 1/6 Scale Collectible Figure is presented in commemorative packaging featuring the Star Wars: Attack of the Clones 20th Anniversary logo.
