A special look at Dead Island 2 is coming up next week

It’s time to get dead again, and we mean that as in “Dead Island 2”. The long-awaited sequel is set to have a special showcase next week.

Tis the season

Yes, the stockings are hung, the tree is up, and the dead have risen. Well, maybe not that last one, at least not usually. This year though, is a special case, as there’s some Dead Island 2 to talk about.

Dambuster Studios’ sequel to the fan-favorite original is on the way, and publisher Deep Silver just can’t wait to show it off. That that end, the company will be holding a special Showcase event next week, diving deep into the undead hellscape that is Hell-A (see me avoiding the obvious the jokes?).

Dubbed “Another Day In HELL-A”, the showcase will include a live-action film. But don’t worry, though the delivery is live, the short will include plenty of gameplay as well, and even get into the game’s feature-set.

Here’s a tease:

“Another Day In HELL-A” will introduce brand new gameplay content and features through a captivating live action film. Viewers will also see the premier of a thrilling Dead Island 2 trailer containing an extended and exclusive look at the latest and greatest gameplay from the hotly anticipated title.

Deep Silver press release

Look for “Another Day In HELL-A” this coming Tuesday, hitting Deep Silver’s Twitch channel at 12pm pacific (on December 6th). Can’t watch live? Check it out again (and again) via Prime Video. It’ll be up there beginning at midnight local times.

As for Dead Island 2 itself, that’s coming along for consoles and the PC this April the 28th (2023).
