Nintendo has an Indie World Showcase coming up this Wednesday

More than one day’s notice?! Yes, as impossible as it might seem, Nintendo is giving fans a few days to get ready for its newest Indie World Showcase.

Well that’s Direct

To be fair, Nintendo has been giving a little more time for people to plan out their viewings, as go Nintendo Directs. I think last time there was a day in between the announcement and the actual event, and there might’ve been one before that too, that a day of more.

In any event, it’s a nice trend, as we’ve been used to getting these announcements the day before. So any extra time at all is a welcome change of pace. Speaking of, this Wednesday’s Nintendo Direct will be a little bit of a change as well.

That’s because this week’s Direct will be of the “indie” variety, focusing on independently-developed titles for the Switch. You can probably expect quite a few of them to be shown off too, as the Direct will run 25 minutes.

There’s no word on a release window that the show might cover though, so your guess is as good as ours as to what might be included. Likely though, this’ll be stuff heading to Nintendo’s console some time over the first-quarter of 2023. And you never know, but there might be a few things immediately available as well. Nintendo likes to shake things up with that.

The show will kick off on November 9th, starting at 12 noon eastern time. You can find it here.

Also worth noting, is that Nintendo is touting its newest Twitter account, which will specially cover indie titles. You can find/follow that, here.
