Modern Warfare II digital pre-orders can get some nice rewards when the game officially hits

If you’ve pre-ordered Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II digitally, you have some serious incentives to beat the campaign during early access.

So you’ll have a week

Did you pre-order Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II? How’s your schedule looking for the weekend after the 20th? Got some time? The reason I ask is because digital copies of the campaign (if you pre-ordered digitally) will unlock and be playable as of the 20th.

If you’re keeping track, you’ll notice that’s a full week ahead of the mass market launch on the 28th. And that means you’ll have all that time to finish up the game’s campaign, before you dig into that multiplayer.

That’s something that you might want to do, since beating said campaign unlocks a heck of a lot of bonuses in the multi.

Those include:

  • Calling Card: “Soap’s Determination”
  • Emblem: “What’s Done Is Done”
  • 30 Minute Double XP Token
  • 30 Minute Double Weapon XP Token
  • Calling Card: “Chainlinked”
  • Base Operator: Chuy
  • 30 Minute Double XP Token
  • 30 Minute Double Weapon XP Token
  • Calling Card: “Gaz”
  • Base Operator: Nova
  • 1 Hour Double XP Token
  • 1 Hour Double Weapon XP Token
  • Calling Card: “Shadow Company Ops”
  • Base Operator: Reyes
  • 1 Hour Double XP Token
  • 1 Hour Double Weapon XP Token
  • Base Operator: Hutch
  • Union Guard Weapon Blueprint

Now, just to clarify, the above will be unlockable at any time, and not just during the pre-release window. So if you get the game at retail or something, you’ll still be able to open all of those little additions up.

It’s just that unlocking it while you have the game before anyone else means that all of the stuff you see on that list will be ready to go on day one. Kind of a nice thing, right?

Check out the official Activision CoD blog for more on this offer, and get ready, because Modern Warfare II is right around the corner now.
