The best of the best are on the way to PGA Tour 2K23

Golf fans can expect to hit the fairway with an elite selection of pros when PGA Tour 2K23 hits consoles and the PC this October.

MJ too?

We’re about a month out from golf’s premier video game, and the arrival of PGA Tour 2K23. So with that in mind it’s probably about time that 2K revealed just who fans will be able to play as on the game’s virtual courses.

That was seen to this week, as the publisher took the wraps off of a good chunk of the playables. As you’d expect, it’s replete with huge names, and plenty of star power. And for the first time, it’s also got some of the best female players on the planet.

  • Tiger Woods;
  • Justin Thomas;
  • Lexi Thompson;
  • Lydia Ko;
  • Brooke Henderson;
  • Will Zalatoris;
  • Collin Morikawa;
  • Tony Finau;
  • Jon Rahm;
  • Rickie Fowler;
  • Justin Rose;
  • Xander Schauffele;
  • And more.

Yes, “and more”. This isn’t the full roster reveal, just a taste of who you’ll be seeing in the final title. Speaking of, there’s one more player who’s been announced, and he’s not included on that list above.

That’s because Michael Jordan is only available (right away) with a pre-order, or purchase of the Deluxe Edition or Tiger Woods Edition of the game. It kinda/sorta sounds like he’s going to be a DLC player at some point too, though that’s not been confirmed in any way. So if you want MJ for sure, get a pre-order in.

Also, you can expect to see more pros added post-launch. That’s been confirmed by 2K as well, though there’s no hint as to who the publisher might be hinting at.

As for the game itself, those special editions will be arriving on the 11th of October, and the base game hits on the 14th. Look for it for Xbox and PlayStation platforms, as well as the PC.
