Replica company Denuo Novo celebrates “The Big 1” with giveaways and more

It might be Denuo Novo’s birthday, but fans are getting the goodies, with giveaways and more on its lines of Star Wars and DC Comics replicas.

Belt out an order

Are you familiar with Denuo Novo? If you’re not, you’re forgiven, since the company is only a year old today. From the likes of Rubies and NECA, DN is a replica-maker, with some big licenses to its name. How big? Star Wars and DC Comics. Yeah.

“Since acquiring the Lucasfilm license one year ago, Denuo Novo’s commitment has been to handling the fulfillment of outstanding back-orders of STAR WARS product,” said Mark Von Ohlen, Brand Manager of Denuo Novo, adding, “In addition to fulfilling customer’s long-awaited backorders, we’re continuing to debut new and exciting products from the STAR WARS universe, as well as grow our new partnership with DC with the introduction of our popular ’89 Batman Cowl. There are more exciting things to come in 2022 and beyond!”

While there might be some cool stuff on the way, there’s plenty of it now too. That includes a nice selection of Star Wars helmets, which you can check out here, and that Batman ’89 cowl that was mentioned above. Yes, it’s technically a pre-order, but the shipping period looks to be next month, so you probably wouldn’t have all that long to wait to get one.

Clicking through Denuo Novo’s site should impress the quality that you might expect from them too. The helmets, belts, costuming and more all look to be top notch, with terrific detailing.

Going hands-on

In celebrating a year of being in business, Denuo Novo sent a Star Wars press kit over to BG. Inside the gigantic box was a slick Imperial Officer’s belt, a First Order patch, and a life-sized statue of Grogu himself.

All of it is excellent in make, with spot-on designs. I’m not much of a sequels fan, but the belt is quite impressive. A heavy metal buckle basically ‘makes’ the piece, but it also has an actual leather strap, with jet black on the exterior and stark white on the interior.

Let’s get back to The Child for a second too, because he’s pretty awesome. Crafted from resin, the little guy 15″ x 16″ x 8″, so he makes an impact as a centerpiece of a collection. And he also includes a “Mythosaur skull” medallion that is removable, and stands upon a black base with both the Star Wars logo and his name.

\Check out the pics in the gallery below.

Grogu is listed here on DN’s web shop, and is shipping now. He’s priced in at $250 USD. And if you are planning on a purchase, now’s the time.

Celebrate good times

Denuo Novo, as mentioned, is celebrating The Big 1, and that shakes out to mean there’ are some nice promotions in place for fans.

For starters, and only for the month, any purchase of $200 USD or over will include your choice of a Han Solo or Imperial Officer belt accessory. Yes, for free. On top of that, all domestic orders over $50 USD will get free shipping. As anyone who orders online regularly can tell you, that can be a big savings.

Even if you don’t order something today though, it’s worth paging through DN’s site. There’s a ton of cool stuff to gawk at, and plenty more on the horizon.

Included in the press release are mentions of “the original trilogy, prequels, new trilogy, STAR WARS: ROGUE ONETM and STAR WARS: The MandalorianTM. New products supporting STAR WARS, DC and future franchises are continually being released for old and new fans of high-end collectibles”. So lots to look forward to there.
