Season 4 of Call of Duty: Vanguard/Warzone lands next week

There might be a lot of buzz around Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, but Activision isn’t done with Vanguard and the original Warzone just yet.

Bring on the mercs

Yes, it’s been pretty much all Modern Warfare all the time as of late. But that doesn’t mean that there isn’t more Vanguard and Warzone to be had. While the last CoD wasn’t the best received game in the set, it’s about to get some highly anticipated DLC, in the form of a more traditional zombies experience. So, you know, you might wanna take another look.

Officially dubbed Mercenaries of Fortune, the 4th season of Vanguard content is scheduled to arrive next week. It’ll be bringing with it fresh multiplayer content, as well as a new Warzone map… and the return of classic, round-based, zombies action.

Mercenaries of Fortune includes:

  • New Map: Fortune’s Keep. Go all-in on a brand-new WarzoneResurgence Battle Royale map developed by High Moon Studios, featuring stunning vistas and undiscovered riches.
  • Caldera Updates Across the Island. From the return of Storage Town to riverbeds drying up, Raven Software is changing up Caldera.
  •  Armored SUV, New Contract, and More. New tools, objectives, and feature updates to Warzone will add new strategies to consider for your squad’s personal meta.
  • Three Warzone Maps to Drop Into: Fortune’s Keep, Rebirth Island, and Caldera coexist, all for free via regular weekly playlist rotation.

Season 4 goes live at 9am pacific on June 21st for Call of Duty: Vanguard, and at 9am pacific on June 22nd for Warzone.
