Nintendo Download: Say “Fuzzy Pickles!”

It’s a Kingdom Hearts kind of week on the Switch, with a trio of KH arriving. There’s also a hidden gem though, with the return of classic FPS PowerSlave.

Cloudy with a chance of games

So right off the bat, yes there are three Kingdom Hearts games landing on Switch this week. But while that’s a boon for fans of the long-lived RPG series, there’s also a caveat. Namely, that these are Cloud Versions of the games.

The Switch has employed this method of delivery before, especially with intensive titles that the little console just can’t handle. Apparently the KH games fall into that category, as all three are streaming. And that means you won’t actually download the games once you buy them. Instead you’ll stream them from the Cloud to your console. So yeah, make sure you have a good internet connection before you buy.

But of course there’s a ton of other stuff landing this week too. And that includes the new PowerSlave Exhumed. If the name sounds familiar, it’s either because you’re an Iron Maiden fan, or you remember the PSOne title of the same name.

And if you’re in the latter camp, you’re gonna love what’s on top for the Switch. Yep, it’s the classic Egyptian-themed title in all its glory. Actually, more than in its glory, as it’s been bumped up a bit for the new release.

Demos:

Your Decisions Make the Difference – The tactical RPG TRIANGLE STRATEGY is almost here, and a new demo that lets you play from Chapter 1 to the end of Chapter 3 is available now in Nintendo eShop. Save data from the demo can be transferred to the full game once purchased. The protagonist Serenoa and his allies will be engulfed in the conflict among the three nations.
