PCS debuts Lady Death statue, now ready for pre-order

Lady Death has arrived for Halloween, straight from the minds at Pop Culture Shock. The new statue is ready for pre-order, and hits Q4 ’22/Q1 ’23.

Death, destruction, and garters

I still think of Lady Death as a somewhat new character, but she’s been around since… 1991. Debuting in Chaos Comics’ Evil Ernie #1, the Brian Pulido-created character has been a constant presence in the comics industry ever since.

She’s also going through a kind of renaissance now, with several collector figures and now a statue from Pop Culture Shock. As you can see here too, it’s a winner that could easily take center stage in any fan’s collection.

Cast in the 1:3 scale, Lady Death measures a huge 30.5” by 28”. She stands atop a super-detailed base, designed to look like an “ornate staircase”. On top of that, the Lady has also got some customization possibilities. Fans can pick whether to show her wielding either her Chaos or Deathbringer Sword (both actual metal), and it also looks like her cape is removable. That’s not mentioned in the press release, but it certainly looks that way from the Sideshow Toys listing.

The Lady Death Statue is fully sculpted to capture the sultry, supernatural style of this beloved comic book character. Her pale complexion creates a striking contrast with her black costume, which is accented with gold skulls and includes the option for displaying a short capelet or long black cape with red interior. Lady Death’s portrait has voluminous white hair, white eyes, and a pop of red lips matching her manicure to add additional color to the goddess’ ashen appearance.

Lady Death is priced at $1250 USD, and set to ship out some time from next November through January of 2023. Click here for more info or to order.
