Call of Duty gets ready to Scream for Halloween

Your favorite multiplayer shooter is getting haunted once again, and just un time for Halloween. The slasher icon from the Scream movies is coming.

I scream, you scream

While Scream hasn’t had a big screen installment in a while, like any good slasher flick it’s kinda timeless. And that’s likely a big part of why the villain from those films is coming to Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War.

The Ghost Face killer is following on the heels of other horror characters of past years, and starring in the latest Halloween-themed CoD experience. He’s not alone though, as there’ll also be a Frank the Rabbit Operator Skin, and more, including “a trio of ultra-rarity Operator Skins across three bundles, including the Tracer Pack: Necro Queen Reactive Mastercraft, Tracer Pack: Disciple of Mayhem Ultra Bundle and Tracer Pack: Lumens Maxis Ultra Bundle.”

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War and Warzone get reloaded with The Haunting, the blockbuster Halloween event that will take over both games starting tomorrow and will run through November 2. Featuring the “Ghosts of Verdansk” limited-time mode, The Haunting in Warzone brings Verdansk back under nightfall. In Black Ops Cold War, new modes in Multiplayer and Zombies are sure to get players into the Halloween spirit. Completing The Haunting’s challenges in either game will unlock prototypes of the LAPA SMG – the first-ever ranged weapon event reward, which will also have unique Weapon Blueprint available in the store, along with Halloween-themed bundles.

Activision

The spooky fun starts today (October 19th) and runs thought the 2nd of November.
