Super7 announces lineup for TMNT Ultimates wave 6

Rolling on with the awesome Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Ultimates series is Super7, as the contents of wave 6 will have Slash, Mousers, Ace Duck, and more.

Mutating

It’s probably safe to say that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Ultimates is one of the most unique Turtles lines to ever see shelves. Basically, it’s a toy line based on another toy line, as it uses the designs that were originally thought up for the first TMNT series from Playmates Toys back in the 80s and 90s.

What it does differently though, is scale, detail, and articulation. S7’s stuff is loaded with articulation as compared to those originals, and is stocked with excellent little details and paint applications. On top of that too, each figure comes with odes to the original accessories, plus another set that’s an exact, single-colored match. If you’re a long time fan, it’s tough not to get a smile from that.

It’s also a little hard to picture that what’s generally considered a ‘new’ line is entering into its 6th wave. Or at least, it will be in July of ’22. Things tend to move a little faster when you’re talking about distant pre-orders after all.

Wave 6 is looking awesome though, and is even more packed that usual. That comes by way of a 5th figure (series’ usually have 4), that’s a 5 pack of Mousers. How cool is that?

As for the rest of the wave, there’s the popular evil-turtle Slash, the fan-favorite Ace Duck, and niche characters Scratch the cat and Sewer Surfer Mike. That’s a solid wave of figures by anyone’s count.

Again the figures should be out in July of next year, and each will run you $54.99 USD. Yes, that’s a price increase, though with everything else on Earth going up in cost, it’s to have been expected.

If you’d like to get in some pre-orders, you can do so via Super7’s own online shop, or by way of several other internet toy shops. Those include Entertainment Earth, who have each one ready to go via the links below.

As usual, remember that any purchases made via the EE links here will result in a small commission for BrutalGamer.
