Celebrate the holidays in style, by taking down zombies while you flip your way across the massive playground that is Dying Light 2: Stay Human.
The light returns
It’s been a while since we’ve seen the name Dying Light associated with a new release. The first game in the series arrived in 2015, with a sequel seeing announcement in 2019. Well that long-awaited title is finally on the way, and even has a release date.
Hitting on December 7th, 2021, will be Dying Light 2: Stay Human. Hit play on the player below to check out the first look at the title’s gameplay and story.
Look good? Look massive? Yeah, Dying Light 2 seems to be shaping up to be a monster of a game. It’s also one that developer Techland is promising will be enjoyable for both those who’ve played through the original, and those who haven’t.
If you are a SL mega-fan though, then you’ll be happy to know that there are 6 different versions coming up. Those include Standard, Deluxe, and Collector’s at the retail level, plus Standard, Deluxe, and Ultimate for digital release. All are ready for pre-order now. Regardless of which of those you pick though, you’ll be in for something called the Reload Pack. That will include a “unique outfit, weapon, and paraglider skin”.
Oh, and if you’ve yet to play the original, you’re going to have a new version of that to dig into. Techland is prepping Dying Light Platinum Edition, with will be loaded up with all of that game’s previously released DLC. Look for that “at a best value” some time soon (digitally) on Steam, GOG, Xbox and PlayStation.
