Horror game In Sound Mind coming to Switch, as well as next-gen platforms

In Sound Mind is set to bring its brand of reality-bending psychological horror to the Nintendo Switch, as well as Xbox Series X|S and PS5.

Creeping horror

If you missed publisher Modus Games’ announcement of In Sound Mind, you missed out on something pretty neat. A first-person thriller from the development team at We Create Stuff, In Sound Mind sends players inside of twisted minds for a trip through their memories.

Obviously, some of those memories aren’t the prettiest of places.

In Sound Mind is a first-person horror experience which pits players against the unpredictable dangers stirring within a series of individuals’ memories. Created by the team behind the legendary Nightmare House 2 mod, In Sound Mind twists seemingly simple recollections into shocking encounters with terrifying threats, unbelievable scenes, and a mysterious talking cat for good measure.

Modus Games

Originally scheduled for the Xbox Series X|S, PS5, and PC, the game is now set to branch out a bit. Modus has announced that Switch gamers can expect to get in on the horror as well.

A Deluxe Edition of the scare-fest has been announced too, which will be the only version to hit physical retail. Included with that will be the game, plus an art book and a soundtrack from The Living Tombstone. Expect the price for that to be $39.99 USD. The standard, digitally-delivered version will be just a bit lower, at $34.99 USD across all platforms.

In Sound Mind will arrive some time in 2021, though there’s no release date as of yet. You can pre-order a copy however, right now.
