Trails of Cold Steel IV hits pre-order, gets bonuses

Heads up JRPG fans, Trails of Cold Steel IV just hit the pre-order phase. Those looking to buy into the Digital Deluxe Edition can do so now.

On the trail

Part IV of the Trails of Cold Steel saga is coming up quickly for the PS4, as the game will be landing on the console this month. And while the window is decidedly a short one, you can pre-order a digital copy now.

Why would you want to pre-order a digital game? Well, you already know they’re not exactly going to run out, but there is a reason. Namely, that publisher NISA is including a bit extra for those who do. Oh, and a price drop. That too.

Trails of Cold Steel IV Digital Deluxe Edition will include both the base game, and a 4-pack of “cosmetic DLC bundles”. Just what’s included in those, we’re not sure, but it stands to reason that if cosmetic stuff is your bag and you like JRPG’s… well you might want them.

Not the least of the incentives though, is a price drop. If you pre-order Trails IV you’ll receive the game for $59.99 USD. That’s a $20 savings over what will be the stock price for that version. Not too shabby at all.

Of course, there will be other ways to get the game for PS4, including a physical edition, but this is a nice little deal for those who prefer digital. Also worth mentioning, is that if you prefer a different platform all together, Trails of Cold Steel IV is also on the way to the Switch and PC.

You will, however, have to wait till some time in 2021 for those. The game comes to PS4 on October 27th.
