Stranger Things comic book Halloween special on the way

Things are getting stranger once again in Hawkins. Dark Horse Comics is set to scare up a Stranger Things Halloween Special in October.

Trick or treat

Well, Halloween might be cancelled this year (oh come on, you know it will be), but that doesn’t mean that there won’t be a little fun to be had.

There definitely will be some scares about, with one coming up from Dark Horse Comics, in a world that genre fans should know well. That’s because Dark Horse is getting in on that spooky act with a Halloween Special set in the Stranger Things universe.

Effectively a prequel comic, the book takes place before the first season of the popular Netflix show. Actually, less than a week before. And as you’ll see, there are more things that go bump in the Hawkins-night than just inter-dimensional Demogorgons.

It’s Halloween night in Hawkins, Indiana and Will, Mike, Lucas and Dustin gather in Castle Byers to eat candy and scare each other with spooky stories. Little do they know, they’ll reveal the quaint town’s deepest kept secret—the Child-Eater of Hawkins.

Dark Horse Comics

From Michael Moreci, Todor Hristov, Chris O’Halloran, and Nate Piekos, Stranger Things Halloween Special is set to hit stands on October 21st, 2020.

About Jason Micciche

Jason's been knee deep in videogames since he was but a lad. Cutting his teeth on the pixely glory that was the Atari 2600, he's been hack'n'slashing and shoot'em'uping ever since. Mainly an FPS and action guy, Jason enjoys the occasional well crafted title from every genre.
