First trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home arrives

Actor Tom Holland presents the first trailer for Spider-Man: Far From Home with a warning. Basically, if you haven’t seen Endgame, don’t watch this.

Seriously, think twice if you haven’t seen Endgame

Far From Home is a pair of firsts. The movie is both the first sequel to Homecoming, and is the very first Marvel movie to see release post-Endgame. This is a new era for Marvel’s movie slate. More than that, there are some things that have occurred that are absolutely massive and will change the direction of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Watching Far From Home’s first look will spoil some of Endgame for you. There’s just no way around that.

So, you’ve been warned, and Holland is about to warn you again.

Without engaging in any massive spoilers, just in case you didn’t watch the above, there is a ton to digest in that right there. And that includes (and this isn’t really a spoiler) the first true glimpse of the multiverse. Kind of. Sort of. Maybe.

In any event, and spoiling aside, the above looks like more of what we’ve all come to expect from a Marvel movie. Big action, huge set pieces and special effect shots, and of course riffs on Marvel Comics superstars. Some possibly very different riffs, from the looks of things.

Spider-Man: Far From Home lands in theaters on July 2nd.
