Find your way through the wastes with GameStop’s Metro Exodus bonus

GameStop has announced their pre-order goodie for Deep Silver’s Metro Exodus, and it’s actually something you might use.

Okay, so a compass might not be the most practical thing here in our modern world. Still, compared to stuff that you usually get as bonuses with video game pre-orders, it’s pretty cool. And it’s a neat tie-in with the game series too, since hero Artyom pretty much always has one with him. The compass you’ll get will be mounted onto a carabiner too, so you can clip it to your survival pack while you’re out and about.

Set to be a “limited run” item, the compass will be exclusive to GameStop and EB Games stores, and come with an order for either the Xbox One or PS4 version of the game. As usual, you’ll be able to get yours when you pick up your copy of the game. Speaking from experience though, you might want to get there early. I’ve pre-ordered a few games over the years to get the bonus items only to be told that they’re gone by the time I get to the store.

As to when Metro Exodus will be landing at retail, that’s not going to be long after the New Year. The game will be hitting On February the 22nd.
