Dark Horse is about to expand its Witcher universe with a fresh mini-series. The Witcher: Of Flesh and Flame #1 hits stores in December.
The adventure continues
The video game series might be “over”, but Geralt and the rest of The Witcher universe are rolling in the world of comics. Dark Horse has announced a brand new mini-series starring the monster hunter, called Of Flesh and Flame.
In The Witcher: Of Flesh and Flame, Geralt is summoned by an old friend to help solve a mystery involving his daughter. Upon his arrival, Geralt is surprised by another friend from the past, and he soon finds himself transported to regions beyond his original expectations.
Set for four issues, the new book starts on December 19th. Writer Aleksandra Motyka will be helming too. That’s a very good thing, since she’s a veteran of the Witcher’s world, having worked on The Wild Hunt (game). Joining her will be Marianna Strychowska, who will provide the art.
While this is the latest Witcher project from Dark Horse, it’s not the only one. The Witcher Library Edition will be landing in stores ahead of this run. That’ll be on October 24th, and includes a host of previously released Witcher mini-series’.
