Justice League “Animated” figures arrive for order tomorrow

The DC Universe Subscription Service is finally here, and with it comes an impressive assortment of animated-style Justice League action figures.

Bringing the League home

One of the best superhero cartoons of all time, the Justice League animated show is a classic at this point. It’s also readily available to watch as a part of the DC Universe Subscription Service. That service, which opened recently and sees the JL cartoon start airing tomorrow, is also a portal to some exclusive items. This is stuff that you won’t be able to get anywhere else according to DC.

The first round of goodies is a full roster of DC animated figures from the Justice League toon. If you haven’t seen them already, the lineup includes:

  • Batman
  • Superman
  • Wonder Woman
  • Martian Manhunter
  • Green Lantern
  • The Flash
  • Hawkgirl
  • Aquaman

Now, you might be asking why Aquaman is there, since he wasn’t a core Leaguer in the show. The answer is pretty simple I’d imagine: He’s a classic Leaguer in every other sense, and there’s a movie coming. All things considered though, that’s an awesome lineup fo figures, and I’d imagine they’d look pretty great having out in that Batman: The Animated Series batcave playset.

Here’s how to get ’em

To get them, you only need to click/tap on over to the “shop” tab in the DC Universe Subscription Service portal. You’ll be able to pre-order a few, and buy a few for shipping right then. Each one will run you $28.00 USD each, or you can buy all of them at once for $194 in a package deal (till November 30th). If you do the latter though, you’ll have to wait till November to get the full set.

  • Batman, Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern and Hawkgirl will be available to purchase at launch and ship in September
  • Aquaman and Wonder Woman will be available to pre-order at launch, to ship in October
  • The Flash and Superman will be available to pre-order at launch, to ship in November
