Rey Mysterio is WWE 2k19’s first pre-order bonus grappler

The Lucha Libre legend, and former WWE champion Rey Mysterio is the first of the pre-order bonus wrestlers for 2K Games’ WWE 2k19.

Hard to believe that Mysterio debuted all the way back in 02. It certainly seems as though he’s still a pretty popular force in the world of pro wrestling. There are reasons for that of course, chiefly being his exciting in-ring style, and overall speed. I think it’s fair to say that he’s made a lasting impression on wrestling fans. He was a flat-out huge part of Raw and the Federation in general at the turn of the millennium.

So it’s more than a little understandable that he’s been selected to be one of the two pre-order bonus wrestlers for WWE 2k19. Rey will be cast in his 2018 attire, that he appeared in for the Royal Rumble. To get him (and that mystery second character), you’ll only need to pre-order the game.

WWE 2k19 arrives on the Xbox One and PS4 on October the 19th. Watch for it to have both a Deluxe Edition, and Collector’s Edition, in addition tot he standard version.
