Catch the Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 reveal today, at 10am pacific

The day is finally here. Activision is about to take the wraps off of this year’s Call of Duty installment. Getting the first bits of info on Black Ops 4 is only a few hours away.

Black Ops

Too you can plainly see that there’s nothing going on in the player above. That’s because it’s not scheduled to come alive till a little later on today. 10am pacific time is the hour that you’ll want to tun back in to this post, and hit that play button above.

It’s then that you’ll be treated to… something. Seriously, we don’t know exactly how much or how little Activision will be showing off today as goes Black Ops 4. They’re calling this a “community reveal event”, which sounds familiar, but that’s all we’ve got on the game so far.

There are plenty of rumors though. Chief among those is that Black Ops 4 is going to be the first CoD title to eschew the standard single-player campaign. More than that, it’ll apparently have no “story” at all, if you believe the mill that’s been churning for a few weeks now.

The chatter has Black Ops 4 as all multiplayer, presumably with a focus on the competitive gaming community. That’d be… interesting. Sure CoD games haven’t traditionally had a great campaign, but they’ve had one all the same, and some of those have played host to some pretty spectacular gaming moments.

I’d be kind of sad to see the mode go. Though, for now anyway, that’s still all rumor. We’ll find out the truth in just a few hours time. Set your timers Call of Duty fans.
