Usagi Yojimbo/TMNT team-ups collected in new trade paperback

Stan Sakai’s Usagi Yojimbo and the TMNT’ are heroes that have had a long history of teaming. Now their combined adventures are getting a collected edition from Dark Horse Comics.

Complete

Throughout the last three decades, comics master Stan Sakai has penned many crossover stories full of action-packed adventures between his creation, Usagi Yojimbo, and the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Now, Dark Horse is thrilled to bring fans the complete collection of every Usagi Yojimbo/TMNT crossover ever produced! The rabbit ronin, Miyamoto Usagi, and the Turtles have a long-standing history of teaming up to fight evil both on the comics pages and on screen as Usagi has appeared in every animated television series incarnation of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoon, including last summer’s three-episode arc on Nickelodeon’s fifth season, titled Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

Usagi Yojimbo/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Complete Collection is a pretty complete volume. Published by Dark Horse, the book collects pretty much every adventure that the quintet has been on. “Turtle Soup and Rabbit Stew,” “The Crossing,” “The Treaty,” “Shades of Green,” and the recent full-color tale “Namazu”? Yep, they’re all in this one. And on top of all that, you also get a bunch of bonus material, from Usagi’s creator Stan Sakai’s studio. That’s pretty chunky.

Watch for the book to arrive in stores this September the 28th. It’ll run you a surprisingly low $17.99 USD, and you can pre-order one right now via Amazon and your local comic shop.
