Call of Duty: WWII beta hits PC at the end of the month

Ready to dive into Call of Duty’s newest take on WWII on the PC? Good news, the beta is hitting just a few weeks from now.

Beta time

Launched on consoles a short while ago, the multiplayer beta for Activision’s new take on World War II is now set to land on the PC. According to developer Sledgehammer Games, they got a lot out of that test phase too. That’s -of course- one of the points of holding a beta, to make sure everything works, and that the players enjoy the experience.

Now with the beta landing on the PC on thee 29th of this month, Sledgehammer has announced the system specs. Here’s what you’ll need to be packing to run the game:

Min Spec:
OS: Windows 7 64-Bit or later
CPU: Intel® Core™ i3 3225 or equivalent
RAM: 8 GB RAM
HDD: 25 GB HD space
Video: NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 660 @ 2 GB / AMD Radeon™ HD 7850 @ 2GB or better
DirectX: Version 11.0 compatible video card or equivalent
Network: Broadband Internet connection
Sound Card: DirectX Compatible

Keep in mind though, that the specs could change after the PC beta closes. So while this is what you need to have now, it might not hold true for the full retail version that hits in November.

The PC beta lands on the 29th, and will run through October the 2nd. You can read the full post from Sledgehammer’s blog here.
