Logan, Darkhawk, She-Hulk, and Secret Warriors Marvel Legacy books confirmed

Four more Marvel Legacy books have been confirmed by the publisher, including one that raise some interesting questions.

A returning Legacy?

So, first, I’m pretty stoked to see Darkhawk on the Legacy slate. As a comic fan in the 90s, he was one of my favorite characters from the decade. Hawk didn’t really carry on in any significant way after that, so it’s cool to see his solo return with issue #51 (in Legacy numbering).

There’s also New Warriors, and Old Man Logan, which is a returning book that depresses me every so slightly. I want Wolverine back, and as a fan of the mutant hero, Old Man Logan ain’t cutting it… no pun intended.

And that brings us to She-Hulk. I dig She-Hulk as a character/book, so it’s cool with me that we’re seeing a return in Legacy numbering. Here’s the thing though, Jenn has a book out there right now under the plain old “Hulk” name.

My point here, is that I have to wonder if we’re going to see the return of Bruce Banner/Hulk to the Marvel U. The publisher has been teasing a big return, and an iconic one at that. Could that be the ‘real’ Hulk?

We’ve seen Banner/Hulk in some promo imagery as a part of Legacy, so we know he’s coming. Though I assumed he would be making either a guest appearance, or his story would involve some kind of time shift or something. But, could he be making an actual return to the Marvel Universe?

It certainly wouldn’t be that far-fetched. I don’t see it being too difficult to explain Hawkeye’s arrow not killing Banner in Civil War II. I mean, this is Hulk we’re talking about here.

Where might that leave Amadeus Cho’s Totally Awesome Hulk? Well it might leave him right there where he is. And by that, I mean a part of the Marvel U, alongside the classic Hulk- or against him if he returns as the raging monster that most fans seem to prefer.

We’ll see. As of right now though, She-Hulk could be a very telling little Easter Egg.
