The latest look at Streum On studios new Warhammer 40k title is here, and Space Hulk: Deathwing is looking sharp.
The Space Hulk: Deathwing beta closes with a bang
Millions of deadly Genestealers have been purged brothers. And the might of the Imperium now prepares for a full-on assault on the xenos. Or, in other words, the beta for Space Hulk: Deathwing is now over, and we head full-on into the retail release. That’s not too far off, and the game is looking great.
I’ve been following this one pretty closely for a while now, since I was a fan of the PC and 3DO games. At this point, I’m pretty impressed, by both the look and the gameplay style. This doesn’t seem to be a slow-paced tactical affair.
No, it looks like this Space Hulk game is way more FPS-like in the traditional sense. I like the older titles a good deal, believe me, but this is a cool take. And I think it’s one that could prove refreshing for fans of the brand. Fingers crossed anyway.
Hitting for the PC, Space Hulk: Deathwing arrives on December 9th. Waiting for the console versions? They’ll be along some time in 2017.
