PlayStation has released the latest communities app to go along with the PS messaging and profile apps. Don’t know why they can’t put it all into one app but hey at least we have it.

The PS communities app allows you to View Community profiles and discovers new communities based on the games you play. Which includes features such as joining new groups, messaging other groups for your chosen game, and creating your own group so you can hack the San Francisco Bay area, discover the secrets within Amnesia or find the perfect group to share with your friends.

Extra features include a streamlined view to stay-up-to-date with push notifications that you can adjust for just the communities you want to get notified by. It’s a nice addition to PlayStation tool belt and I’d see being handy in the future.
