Ports of Darkest Dungeon to Receive Bonus Content

Playstation Darkest Dungeon players have a few extras to look forward to.

Darkest Dungeon was a game that exited Early Access at the dawn of the new year. Critically and commercially successful, it was, therefore, a strong first outing for Red Hook Studios. It was so successful that they announced plans to port it to the PS4 and PS Vita. These ports were delayed and while they are being released soon the developers are releasing bonus content in order to make up for the wait.

Playstation games of Darkest Dungeon will start with two new items, a Stone of Patience and a Stone of Endurance. Red Hook has stated that these items are a thank you to their patient fans. They have also added rare items, refurbished the backgrounds of the dungeons, and added a new town event. Said town event is “A long awaited day” and gives players a massive boom of recruitable heroes.

To cap it off, Red Hook Studios is offering a 20% discount on the game for two weeks. The PS4 and PS Vita ports of Darkest Dungeon will be released on September 27th.
