SDCC 2016: Ash vs Evil Dead Red Band trailer arrives

Too hot for Comic Con? The trailer for Ash vs Evil Dead season 2 is a ripper. And maybe a kegger too.

Oh is it good to see Ash back in action again. The second season of the gory, demon-hacking show kicks off right where season 1 wound down. Ash is in Florida, enjoying the fruits of his ‘deal’ that he made with the mysterious Ruby. He gets to kick back and relax with his newfound buddies, while evil takes over the world.

The problem of course, is that evil is taking over the world. And at last check, ‘the world’ includes Jacksonville. Hence, Ash is heading back to Michigan, and back into the path of undying deadite horror. That’s kind of his thing though, so maybe don’t worry to much about him.

Oh yeah, one other thing: He’s also heading to Comic Con this week.

Starz has a whole slate of stuff planned for Ash vs Evil Dead, including autograph sessions. All of this goodness takes place on this coming Saturday, July 23rd, when you’ll be able to catch a trio of Ash events.

Things start up with the signature opportunities, and wind down with a premier of the first episode of season 2. Yep, that’s a day that you want in on, I know. So here’s the specifics on just how you can take part in Ash vs Evil Dead at SDCC.

  • “Ash vs Evil Dead” Autograph Session – Saturday, July 23rd at 2:00 PM – “Ash vs Evil Dead” Cabin at Petco Park Interactive Zone.
  • “Ash vs Evil Dead” San Diego Comic-Con Panel – Saturday, July 23rd at 6:45 PM – Room 6A in the San Diego Convention Center
  • “Ash vs Evil Dead” World Premiere Screening of Season Two Premiere – Saturday, July 23rd at 10:00 PM – Room 6DE in the San Diego Convention Center
