E3 2016: Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare goes to space in new trailer

Space… the final frontier. These are the voyages of the newest game in the Call of Duty series, Infinite Warfare.

In the above, which debuted just the other day at E3, we get a look at ship to ship combat, and navigating space in Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare. Captain Reyes and his crew launch from the UNSA Retribution to take on some baddies parked in Lunar orbit.

Not only do we get to see man to man (and robot) combat, but also fighter action (called Jackals). There’s a pretty seamless transition between the two as well, which is great and speaks to some possibly huge maps. I also really like the zero-g combat, that’s kind of a novelty.

Pretty awesome with the grappling hook as well. Even sci-fi games (which I guess this is) don’t really get into weightlessness all that much. Somehow too, and I was a little apprehensive about this, the game seems to manage to still feel like CoD. I guess it helps that it looks pretty fantastic too.

The above was taken from the PS4 version of the game, though I imagine that all versions will look somewhat similar when Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare hits for the PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 4th.
