A land untouched by the tides of war that have engulfed most of The Witcher’s world… but something evil and thirsty for blood lurks just under the surface of this paradise.
Looking better than ever, get ready to pour a couple dozen more hours into The Witcher III: Wild Hunt. Blood and Wine is the latest expansion for the game, and could almost be called a .5 version of The Witcher III, expanding big time on what was already one of the best games of 2015. What’s “big time” mean? Try over 30 hours of new content. That means you can expect plenty of “dark deeds, unexpected twists, romance and deceit”, and really, what Witcher fan isn’t up for more of that?
All this is included already in the Expansion Pass of the game too, so if you have that, you’ve already got Blood and Wine locked up. If not, you’ll be able to pick it up right alongside Pass-subscribers on May 31st, when it hist for the Xbox One, PS4, and PC.
Also worth a mention is that there’s a super-limited physical edition of the game expansion arriving as well. That version has “physical versions of the Northern Realms and Nilfgaard Gwent decks”, so some nice little bonuses there if you can find a copy.
