MKX loads up for round 2 with Kombat Pack 2 and more

Mortal Kombat X has plenty of life left in it with the arrival of Kombat Pack 2.

Man, Leatherface can move for a big man! It’s kind of magic to see him fighting Jason too, I’m not even a horror fan and I loved seeing that. The king of the Pack has to be the Alien for me though, as I’m a huge fan of Aliens. Also looking great though, is the Triborg, and fan favorite Bo Rai Cho, who’s attacks are significantly more, uh, gross than I remember.

And while you can buy all these characters separately, you’ll probably want to buy into the Kombat Pack 2 to secure all of them in one shot, as you’re in for a few little bonuses if you do. Buyers of the whole shootin’ match will be in for all of the following as well- including the all-new Apocalypse Pack.

  • Goro – The feral, four-armed Shokan warrior will be available as a playable combatant.
  • Apocalypse Pack – The Apocalypse Pack features three new character skins, reimagining characters Takeda, D’Vorah and Erron Black with an apocalyptic theme.
  • Brazil Pack – The Brazil Pack features three new character skins: Futbol Cage, Capoeira Liu Kang and Gaucho Kung Lao.
  • Kold War Pack – The Kold War Pack includes three new character skins: Motherland Sonya, Tundra Sub-Zero and Revolution Kano.
  • Kold War Scorpion – Kold War-themed Scorpion character skin.

So when can you grab all this for yourself? There’s no official release date as of yet, but you can expect to be able to play around with the new stuff for yourself sometime this year.

About Jason

Jason's been knee deep in videogames since he was but a lad. Cutting his teeth on the pixely glory that was the Atari 2600, he's been hack'n'slashing and shoot'em'uping ever since. Mainly an FPS and action guy, Jason enjoys the occasional well crafted title from every genre.
