Vanilla ware’s Odin Sphere coming to PS4, Vita, and PS3

The gorgeous, hand drawn PS2 title Odin Sphere is set to make a comeback on the current round of Sony consoles… and PS3.

While I’m a little confused as to why it’s coming to PS3, since that’s pretty much a dead console at this point, it’s darn good to see Odin Sphere on the way to retail once more and pretty fantastic to hear that it’ll be coming to the Vita as well as the PS4. It’s been a while since one of Vanillaware’s best looking games has been seen in any way after all, and it’s still a great game that honestly looks pretty sharp even on its original console.

Now, before you get too excited though, there is no US or European release date as of right now. I think it’s probably a safe bet though, that it’ll appear at some point, though when is anyone’s guess. As for Japan, Odin Sphere is heading to the PS4, PS3, and PS Vita this coming January.
