The next adaptation of Games Workshop’s tabletop Blood Bowl game is almost here.
Set for release this Spring, Cyanide Studio’s newest stab at the venerable Blood Bowl franchise is looking sharp as an orc’s tooth. The game is an official sequel to the first game in the re-born series, and looks to improve on that first version in every way possible. As you can see form the trailer, that’s certainly true in the graphics department, where Blood Bowl 2 is actually quite pretty… in a muddy, blood covered way of course.
As for the gameplay, you can expect the same turn-based, strategic play from the first game to reappear here, just juiced up a bit more. The roster of teams will also be fully fleshed out with Humans, Orcs, Dwarfs, Elves, Skaven, Beastmen and more all present and ready to scrap.
Also announced this week, is that the game will not be a PC-only affair as it was the first time around. Blood Bowl 2 is also coming to the Xbox One and the PS4, so you’ll be able to get your brutal fantasy football fix even if your gaming platform is attached to a TV (not that a PC can’t be these days). Expect Blood Bowl 2 to kickoff some time in Spring 2015.
