Hard West bring tactical gameplay to the ‘weird west’

A tactical strategy title set in a very strange and “sinister” wild west setting, Hard West is up for your consideration on Kickstarter.

Sound good? Hard West might be the most original idea I’ve heard for a game this year, and definitely is one of the most original I’ve ever heard for a game set in the wild, wild west.

And there’s a pedigree here for developer CreativeForge Games that extends way beyond an as yet unreleased RTS (as mentioned in the video). The company boasts members who’ve worked on games like Hard Reset, Dead Island, Shadow Warrior, and Call of Juarez; all of which are solid to excellent titles.

If you dig the idea (and I honestly can’t imagine that you don’t), make sure you swing by the game’s Kickstarter page here, and think about throwing your support behind them. It looks like Hard West is about a year out in terms of release, but the campaign on the crowd funding site will wrap up in 15 days.
