Wait. Teaming with? A Templar?!
Revolutions make for strange bedfellows indeed and a Templar and Assassin fighting back to back is just about as strange as it gets in the Assassin’s Creed universe. According to Ubisoft, Elise is a central figure in the ACU storyline and someone who’s determined to secure her place in the Templar order so much that she’s allied herself with the game’s main character, the Assassin Arno.
While you’re getting over that one, Ubi has also announced that there’s a special figurine on the way of Elise. “Elise: The Fiery Templar” can be added to the “Arno: The Fearless Assassin” figure to make one rough and tumble diorama for your gaming shelf. The figurine, which will also include digital content for the game itself, is available now for ordering on Ubicollectibles.com.
And in even more ACU news, there’s also a book on the way from Oliver Bowden, who you probably know from his other Assassin’s Creed tomes if you’re a series fan. The novel will be coming from Penguin Random House and will be set in the time covered in the game and feature both Elise and Arno.
Look for the book, entitled Assassin’s Creed Unity, some time in November. As for the figurine, while you can order it now, it won’t be shipping till October 4th, which is just before Assassin’s Creed Unity the game drops in on stores and digital download services, on October 28th.
