Microsoft has announced August’s free Games with Gold program. Xbox One owners will be receiving Crimson Dragon and Strike Suit Zero: Director’s Cut. Xbox 360 owners will be receiving Motocross Madness, available August 1st-15th, and Dishonored, August 16th-31st. These games will be available for anyone with an Xbox Live Gold Account.
Crimson Dragon and Strike Suit Zero: Director’s Cut will be replacing Guacamele: Super Turbo Championship Edition, read the review on this great game here, and Max: The Curse of the Brotherhood. Guacamelee! STCE and Max: Curse of the Brotherhood will be available until July 31st so make sure to pick these two games up.
On the Xbox 360, the current free game is Battleblock Theater, which will be available until July 31st.
Crimson Dragon is the first of the Panzer Dragon series to arrive on Xbox One. It was a launch title and scored mediocre scores. Strike Suit Zero: Director’s Cut is another rail shooter only this time the players control a giant robot suit instead of a dragon. Strike Suit Zero also given mediocre scores.
Motocross Madness is yet another game about, surprise, motocross. And the final game for August is a AAA title, Dishonored, about a tale of revenge. Dishonored scored relatively well and will be a fun addition to the Games with Gold program.
