E3 2014: Criterion goes beyond cars for their upcoming title

More than just vehicles with 4 wheels, developer Criterion is promising a game with more modes of transportation than pretty much any other ‘racer’ out there. Oh, and plenty of crashing too.

If you’re a fan of Criterion’s Burnout series, you have to be excited for what’s coming next from the developer after seeing that. There’s just no question that they’ve got the skill to turn out something truly extraordinary, we’ve seen it from them in the past, so to hear that they’ve got the free reign that they do now with vehicle types and making an “epic” game with them all, well, it’s more than enough to get this Burnout fanboy pumped.

Of course, there’s also pretty much zero info on what that game might be as of now, so patience (not something that’s usually associated with Criterion games) is a virtue. Whatever it’s set to be, we’ll have word as soon as we hear something.

About Jason Micciche

Jason's been knee deep in videogames since he was but a lad. Cutting his teeth on the pixely glory that was the Atari 2600, he's been hack'n'slashing and shoot'em'uping ever since. Mainly an FPS and action guy, Jason enjoys the occasional well crafted title from every genre.
