The Xbox One/360 shooter based in the Plants vs Zombies universe is coming to the PC in short order; you’ll be playing just in time for the Summer growing season.
You know what? I’d play that 8-bit mockup of PvZ shown in the trailer. Looked awesome. Maybe something to think about EA?
In any event, Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare will indeed be blasting its way to PC servers this June. Available via Origin, the multiplayer-only shooter has been something of a surprise hit on the Xbox family of consoles already. The game has drawn praise from fans of the tower defense-based already existing series and critics alike for it’s fresh take on the multiplayer shooter genre.
The PC edition of the game will feature four different play modes (Gardens & Graveyards and Team Vanquish, and Gnome Bomb), as well as the co-op Garden Ops mode . You’ll also get all the content from Garden Variety Pack & Zomboss Down in the download, which stacks up 8 new playable characters not found in the base console game and some 800 different new customizations along with the Cactus Canyon map.
Fire up those Pea Shooters, Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare arrives on the PC on June 24th from EA and PopCap Games. You can pre-order the Origin Digital Deluxe edition right now, which includes “two Booster Packs, in-game coins and an exclusive character customization pack”, by clicking here.
