Prepare for conquest- the first Galactic Civilizations III gameplay trailer is here

Dominating the galaxy in just a few simple turns.

Galactic Civilizations has a lot of fans in the strategic realm, and for good reason. The series has stood out as a deep and rich strategy franchise that really has no peer in modern PC gaming (or consoles for that matter). With GCIII, developer Stardock is looking to nab a few more members for their Galactic army and perfect the genre a little bit more.

What you saw above was just a taste of what the final game will offer, but you do get a great idea of movement, exploration, and combat entails. This is just s first look too, so expect plenty more about this one as we get a little further into 2014.

There’s no release date as of yet for Galactic Civilizations III, but hang onto your warp drives, we’ll have it for you as soon as it’s announced.
