Wargame Red Dragon available for preorder (and playing) right now

Preorder Eugen System’s upcoming Cold War RTS and you can be playing the beta ASAP.

We’re about a month out from the official release, but if you’ve been counting the days till Wargame Red Dragon hits the digital shelves then we’ve got some good news for you. Eugen Systems has announced that the hotly anticipated strategy title is not only available for preorder on Steam, but if you do pony up early you’ll also get immediate beta access. So basically, preorder and you can be playing as fast as you can download the beta.

New content will be regularly added to the Beta Early Access over the days to come, until the release of the game. New maps, features such as the new dynamic campaign system, and also the naval units and the warships (that we have seen in action in the explosive Naval Trailer)! More than just extra units, the naval forces in Red Dragon lend a fresh strategic depth to the game, unlocking tactical opportunities for any commanders smart enough to exploit their power to the max, notably on the game maps specifically created for them.

And as a little bonus for players of the last game in the series, Wargame AirLand Battle, you can nab a special 25% off the asking price of Red Dragon. All you need do is own the game on Steam or have purchased it off of the official site to take part in the reduction. Coincidently (or… is it?!) you can also preorder Wargame Red Dragon on both Steam and Eugen’s site for it. Hmmm…
