Plants vs Zombies Pinball creeps up on Mac and PC tomorrow

Zen Studios’ take on the popular Popcap franchise comes to the computer via Steam and the Mac App Store.

Sewn together from the meaty bits of PopCap’s hit title, Plants vs. Zombies Pinball brings the zombie invasion to the pinball playfield. It’s time to grow your plants, collect sunlight, plan your defenses, and repel the Zombie Invasion!

If you know PvZ and Zen’s previous work involving little steel balls and bumpers, then  you already know this one’s probably worth getting. Let’s face it, Plants vs Zombies is a veritable phenomenon at this point and Zen doesn’t really make bad pinball games. I actually can’t think of one… pretty much ever. So I guess that makes this mashup kind of a ‘chocolate and peanut buyer’-type thing. Maybe. That’s probably a bad analogy.

Plants vs Zombies Pinball is arriving on both Steam and the Mac App Store tomorrow and will cost you $2.99 USD to add onto your copy of Pinball FX 2. The table-set is also currently available on the PS4/3, Xbox 360, Wii U and PS Vita.
