Dying Light questions its own humanity in new trailer

The newest trailer for Techland’s Dying Light, entitled ‘Humanity’, explores the deep and dark recesses of the mind and what happens to a human pushed to the brink.

This game looks better and better very time I see it. Yes, it’s another ‘zombie game’, but it looks like the masters of the genre (that being Dead Island and Hellraid’s Techland) are really putting on a show with Dying Light.

Of course the graphics look suitably stunning, this is a next-gen game after all, but the trap system and the whole social structure that the developer is setting up between the player character and the group he’s camped with is intriguing. If they can get a real relationship going between the characters, where your fellow survivors are seen as more than just possible cannon fodder, Techland could really have something that could break the mold in Dying Light. Not that being pretty is going to hurt is either.

Dying Light takes a bite out of the Xbox One/360, PS4/3 and the PC some time this year.
