Midnight City joins forces with GameStop for distribution deal

The Blood of the Werewolf developer has reached an agreement with retailer GameStop to offer their games through the shop’s online catalog.

Digital downloads on the PC are to a point now where you think of boxed games on the platform as being unusual. With shops like Steam, GOG.com and yes GameStop leading the way, the ‘all-digital’ gaming landscape is no longer a thing talked about for the future… well, for the PC anyway.

For ‘smaller’ studios like Midnight City, that’s a really good thing because it means that great games like their own Blood of the Werewolf (which we reviewed here) can get out there and into the public eye right alongside blockbusters from monster publishers. Now the company has added one more outlet to the mix as GameStop’s online store is now offering their wares.

Both Blood of the Werewolf and Slender: The Arrival are now available on the service and downloadable by all 30 million+ of its members. If you’d like to grab a copy of Blood of the Werewolf for yourself, you can find that here. Or if Slender: The Arrival is more your bag, the thin man himself can be had right here.
