Call of Duty: Ghosts companion App released

The free, downloadable companion for Activision and Infinity Ward’s Call of Duty: Ghosts has arrived with more features and a second screen experience built right in.

The App, as you can tell, has the main function of keeping you in the game as much as possible at all times. It’s a direct link to your multiplayer character and even goes so far as to connect you to the Clan Wars metagame- which is a really neat little mode and a cool addition to the franchise.

As far as second screen functionality goes, it’s got that natively. So you can get into your load outs, character features, logo design- and even swap platforms if you game across multiple consoles and the PC. You can dig into the feature set a little more by clicking here to connect to the One of Swords blog (which has a ton more info on the App), or hitting here to go to the Call of Duty Facebook page. As for the App itself, that’s available right now and free of charge.

Call of Duty: Ghosts is available now too for the Xbox 360, PS3/4, PC and Wii U. The Xbox One version will be available next Friday, the 22nd, here in the US.

About Jason Micciche

Jason's been knee deep in videogames since he was but a lad. Cutting his teeth on the pixely glory that was the Atari 2600, he's been hack'n'slashing and shoot'em'uping ever since. Mainly an FPS and action guy, Jason enjoys the occasional well crafted title from every genre.
